Daily Rentals: $495 per day / $1,995 per week

No special license to fly a hovercraft except summer time on the water you just need a boat license.

Must book a week or more in advance. Though it's mandatory when renting the hovercraft for the first time to take the Hov Pod course.
The course is a one time 1 hour hands-on lesson where you will learn how to operate the Hov Pod.
This course is Fun & Easy you first will ride as a passenger with your instructor flying the craft as he explains as you go. Then you fly the Hov Pov and the instructor as your passenger. This will be one of the most exciting things of your life. Price $149.00, you will also receive a wall certificate and a hovercraft license for your wallet.

You do not need this course when purchasing a Hov Pod because there will be plenty of information on how to fly your very own personal size hovercraft.

We are Sudbury Northern Hovercrafts, Hov Pod is a new franchise to the City of Sudbury Ontario. Though this Hovercraft franchise may be new here, Hov Pod is extremely popular around the world and has been for over 10 years now !

Pete Ward is a very brilliant and successful man, who invented this unique body and style of the Hov Pod.

He has mastered and overcome the Cons of the the hovercraft from bumper to bumper.

Which he has now come up with this Funtastic craft by focussing on Safety & Leisure as well as sharp and attractive, strong & durable yet lightweight material compared to other models from other companies that look more like industrial hovercrafts rather than leisure.

Also the skirt which the the craft is flying on is Not a complete bag of air, its actually many separate small bags of air, made from a material that is almost impossible to puncture or tear and as an added safety feature; the bottom of each skirt bag is held on by a simple but strong plastic tie wrap.

So if a bag does get hung up or snagged on broken ice; the tie strap breaks instead of the chance of the bag ripping !

You can also fly the craft with 2 or 3 broken bags (tie wraps) on the front and back of the craft as well as 3 or 4 on each side !

But to have a more complete and reliable hovercraft the ties should be replaced as soon as possible.
